I have been thinking about this for some time now, and was wondering about what areas can I improve upon within my own tactics, and here are two major ones for me:

1st - Need better play with my engineers, all around play from smoking to having them up at the front.

often the engineers are the last ones on the battlefield, which really sucks - but with the new capabilities some new units will have - I best get my butt in gear!

2nd - Moving loaded infantry units to the front - I seem to want to park those mother's right at the first foxhole at the front - this really gets me into trouble more often then not. So better play there.

Any other thoughts out there?
If I could play half as good as you Steve!Big Grin:bow:
LOL - I ain't that good.....:(

PS - your killing off my minnow pool Gary.....
:chin: What I'd love to improve:

1) Have the patience to watch the replays. :cantswim:
2) Have the patience to develop an attack prior to contact. :boom2:
3) Have the patience to make less adjustment on defense. 50cal
4) Have the patience to not lose all my halftracks!

I'm really not sure what I can do, but there is a theme there? :smoke:

cheers

1. Stop keep playing Tiger88

2. Take up photography instead of wargaming

only joking Steve, lol!

Employing smoke on the attack.....quite hard to do effectively.

I used to use it very well on the defence (says me, anyway), but would often forget to use smoke when attacking.

Me too McIvan! :smoke:
I bundled the thought in with my prior proper planning of attacks. :)

But, I create a lot of smoke through destroyed Ht's!

cheers
I got 2...

(a) ATTACKING

(b) DEFENDING

I am pretty good about sending the actual email. I am also pretty good about moving stuff around as long as nobody is shooting at me.
Yes Tiger 88 is methodically devastating in my experiences :-)........and so are some other tough opponents around here. But i enjoy regardless of result :-)
I think my use of armour needs to improve, and speed when advancing i seem to bog down easily.
not clicking leave AP's for unloading properly and ending up with loaded trucks in LOS of enemy.....oops......:-)
I think the game is about Mass - Firepower - Speed
It's knowing when and how to use your units to complete the task at hand, whether attacking or defending.
Artillery use in barrage and/or when to smoke. :smoke:

Remember Rattler, when you pet a kitty like a Tiger you have to approach from behind and be ready to run or lose some fingers? Eek

cheers
