Due to the good response for my last map, I will continue releasing one map every week or so. This is map number two. It is for CMBB and is 2000mx2480m and designed for a ME. It has multiple flags at each location with the thought being that the map will have 5000 point battles being fought on it. You will have lots of elbow room on this one, as I am wrapping up a 7000 point QB on this map myself. You want to move your armour around without bottlenecks, how about some field guns firing on enemy infantry at 1800m+, or some house to house infantry tangles as the tank battles rage around you. Here you are.
This map and all others started out as a pre-generated map by the game's AI. All I do is remove the stuff that makes no sense and add stuff the seems to fit. It usually takes about 1-2 hours to get it the way I like with a good portion of the time spent on flag placement. The map was designed with the setting on "Gentle Slopes". I am working on one for CMAK for the next project.

Played a game with Ken F. on this map with over 5000 points per side. Even though it is large, it plays quite well as a ME from both sides. There is lots of room for moving your armour around and still has some good cover for both isdes. It plays like three separate smaller battles with a group of flags on each end and the small village flags in the centre. 5000 points and under might feel a little sparse depending on the forces chosen. There are some very long LOS lanes, might make for a good later time period battle to take advantage of the big guns. A little thought about the battle beforehand would produce a rather entertaining battle IMHO.

I like this map. I messed around with it a bit, and it hosts some wonderful scenarios.

What did you change? If you want, send it to me and let me take a look, always interesting to see what everyone else likes to play. Glad you liked it.
