Hi everyone, :soap:

I am in a team game playing the excellent scenario "Operation Capri." We are on turn 16 of 45, we are at a draw.

One member of the enemy team, John Pirman ("Big Ivan" on the blitz ladder), had to replace his computer with a new one running vista, and it will only run matrix, not the TS edition. I'm not exactly sure why, but the game file will also not run properly on my machine and that of another one of us after Big Ivan played his turn using vista w matrix ed., so we'd like a strong or fairly strong player to replace him, as I suspect he was the team captain for the allied side (we like to keep our roles secret from the enemy team if possible). Also, The new person should be able/willing to play using talonsoft's version, not matrix.

The allied side has David Bracken/Gnrl. Confusion from the ACG forum, and Bill Brown/Golfbill from same.

I am on the axis side with Scorched Earth/Robert Cousin, as well as Mike Bracken/Ensayne from the ACG forum.

If the new team captain wishes to have this game recorded on the blitz ladder at completion, I don't think that'd be a problem. We were going to record it on the ACG forum, but I don't think there's much of a point now.

We are all playing this one blind, but it'd be ok for the new team captain to open the scen on turn one as allied, then get the current turn from his new uh, allies, to get an idea about how the battle has progressed thus far (don't open the scen as axis, please).

If you are interested, post here, or send me an e-mail at [email protected]

Thanks! :)
He could install virtual pc and Winxp on it. And it will work.
I'll let Mr. Pirman know about that idea - we'll see how it goes!

Thanks btw.
It works for sure. I have Vista and Talsonsoft and I've played this way PBEM and there wasn't any problems. Maybe for me, there is some bother with copying files between real system that is connected to internet and virtual that isn’t.
