Hello to everyone!

I just joined The Blitz a few days ago, to meet and play with fellow wargamers of SPMBT and SPWW2. I hope that many enjoyable battles and correspondence will follow.

My name is Edin (a.k.a. ekapic), I live in Barcelona (Spain) and I play SP since 2001. I also designed four SPWW2 scenarios that are included in the game (Operation Roesselsprung, Operation Felix, Nuevas Tacticas and Road to La Coruna).

I play both SPWW2 and SPMBT, preferably (but not exclusively) the Russian/Soviet side. Right now I'm playing 2 PBEMs (1 WW2, 1 MBT), but I'm open for more battles. I can play at least one turn a day, with an occasional 2-3 days delay (but no more).

Once again, a big hello to all fellow SP wargamers!

Welcome to the Blitz. :)
Hola Edin and recepción!

Excellent introduction you have given yourself :)
I am sure I have played some of those scenarios you have made.
I will have to have another look.
There are quite a few other scenario authors here, including myself.
Operation Barras and Hold The Fort / Mirbat are in MBT.

I am sure you will find many good opponents here.
When I get back from my holidays I will send you a challenge.
Ole!

Howdy, I've yet to play this against a person. I have the winspww2 and winspmbt downloaded from their site. You have a couple you want to play, I'll give them a shot. My email is [email protected]. Send away.
Hi, Josey!

Which country / period do you prefer?
Hi Edin!

Have you thought about updating your Red Storm Rising campaign to WinSPMBT?

Artur.
Anything is good with me.
Hi Artur!

Nice to find you on this site! I've been thinking to update the Red Storm Rising campaign to the Win version, but it requires quite a lot amount of free time, which is always in short supply :(

However, I'll give it a try on my next vacations, soon*.

I'll reduce the complexity level, since managing a reinforced Soviet Mechanized Rifle Regiment and a tank divisional detachment is a little too much micromanagement and the sheer number gives Soviet player an easy ride to the end, with some bloody nose here and there.

* soon = anytime on the imaginary timeline from here to the far future
