I just picked up the book For Europe: The French Volunteers of The Waffen-SS by Robert Forbes. This is the Helion reprint edition published in 2006. From skimming through it, the book looks pretty detailed. It covers the Charlemagne Division, the LVF, etc. My only complaint is the lack of an index; it makes it hard if you have to refer to a specific event or individual mentioned previously in the book. Has anyone got this book & what do they think?
