Hi
When you are buy air strikes, but these guys first.
When they fly onto the map, they fire a stand-off attack using their ARM missiles against any target they can see that is using AA radar.
If they do not kill the target, they may well force it to switch off it's radar, thus making the area safer for your following fighter bombers etc.

The also have high EW (Electronic Warfare) stats and can dodge missiles very effectively thus giving them a decent chance at surviving their sortie.

Set up a practice game with enemy radar units and a bunch of SEAD and fighter bombers and watch the fun :-)
