Hi,

It says in the the rules that a unit with men can be put on patrol status, and that when they are on patrol they negate the partisan effects within deception range.

I checked the parameter data for the germans in Minsk 44, and they have a deception range of 0, which means they can only negate these effects in the hex they are in. Is this correct, or do you go by the russian deception range, which is 3.

Thanks and have a nice day!

I am not on a PC with Mnsk Loaded so I can't check it out - but it stands to reason that the Partisans in Minsk are RUSSIAN so I would read the Russian Value.

However, try out the rule in the game and if something doesn't work right send the file in to me or to HPS Support and we can check it out for you.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll try it out.
How do you put a unit into the patrol status?
I read the rules about it's effects but no where does it say how you invoke patroling.
Select a unit, go to the Command menu and click on "Toggle Patrolling".
tbridges, thanks for your reply. I can't tell you how many times I looked through the Command menu and missed it.
