Hi!

Someone over at Shrapnelgames recommended this site, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Because of time issues, I'd like to keep it to smaller battles (up to 2000 points), both winSPWW2 and winSPMBT. ETO preferred, although in winSMPT I would also like to play middle-east engagements.

Anyone up for a game?

Basically, I haven't played PBEM before, is there a thread that lists the force ratios (on/offmap artillery, armour, infantry) that should be used?
Hi Jan!

I will give you a game of winWW2 if you like. As you are new to PBEM we can use it as a teaching game; if I win we will record a draw and if you win you get whatever level you achieve.

You can find many guides on the main sp ladder game, under...GAME GUIDES;)
I'll take that offer. ;)

Can you do the initial setup? Haven't played WW2 for some time, but I had a look at the unit costs to get an idea about the battle size. I'd say 2000-2500 points, late '42 or mid '43. Meeting Engagement (nothing too fancy for the first time), Germany against whatever you choose.

I forgot: I only have the free version of winSPx, could we agree not to use the op-fire filter that comes with the CD version?

Will set something up. I never use the op fire filter (i have the cd); I think it is over rated and not incredibly useful. Just my opinion. I take all slots are open.
Great!

Yes, all slots are open. So far. ;)

Game received. I'll try to get it back to you tonight, see if we can get the first few turns in before Christmas. ;)
