Anyone know if they made any improvements beyond the 32bit patch? Their advertising says John Tiller assisted them in making improvements, but no mention of what those are.

I have all the original ones and don't want to waste money buying them again unless there are worthwhile changes.

Are they compatible with the old ones for playing?

Havoc
JT only provided them with new compiles of the 32-bit exe's - he made no further changes - I have that direct from him. And, from the comments I have seen from the few people that have bought the games already there have been no improvements made at all.

They are compatible with the previous versions however.
Sweet...

I was only saying the other day to someone that i wished i could play Age Of Sail again and the other Nappy games but had lost them all long ago.

Now i can. Big Grin

cheers
What is the chance of loading an older operating system and a BG game on to a flash drive and getting the newer computer to boot of the flash drive?

I saw a one gig for 9 dollars.

Malcolm
So far I managed to get BG Waterloo to run on Vista in 16 bit with the full updates.
Things went haywire after the 32 bit file was applied because the "engine" will not read the scenario files. The good part was I picked the battle and chose the sides etc.
The Matrix games "are" or "are not" compatible with the BG games? I heard they were not.

Malcolm, I run my games on a flashdrive & they all work fine.
All the posts I have seen over at the ACWGC have said they ARE compatible.
Thanks rahamy
