I'm playtesting a scenario against Thesix. What is condidered good form when it comes to reporting the game? Obviously I know where and what his units are, so I can't claim any points against him if I win. How about visa verse? Does one normally award points as standard?
Are you playtesting a SP scenario from the list on the SP test page?

If you are you need to read this FAQ page on how to report a test...

As i says you never report a test as a ladder game, i award test points for a completed report. ;)

Any questions let me know........
If you mirror the scenario then you can report it against the ladder, otherwise it is between what the players decide before hand.
I'm testing a scenario I've designed myself. I wasn't planning on any points being awarded anywhere, but as Thesix is giving up his time to help out I thought if it was the norm I should "pay him for his time".
Hello KeepitLoki,

Well, I believe that if you agreed before-hand to count the game as a ladder game, then it can be reported.

Better way would have been to submit the scenario to the H2H testing area. As H2H custodian, I'd open the scenario and briefly review for balance. If it looked reasonable, then I approve the scenario for test. While scenario testing does not count towards the ladder win/loss scores, you do get awarded points for the test effort..

When appx 5 game tests are completed for the scenario, depending upon the player ratings, the scenario can be approved for ladder use.

It's up to the scenario designer to stay in touch with the playtesters and gather feedback for possible improvements.
