Sorry guys..., serious time shortage..., on top of which I wrecked my car...:mad:


Here's a bit of warning to you out there trying to gain a little time by driving fast:

I was driving in the middle of the night, along a desolate stetch of road in the north of Sweden - going a bit too fast (thought I could gain a little bit of time - stupid - I could have waited a few hours until daylight).

Then suddenly there were two moose - pretty large animals - ahead of me moving from right to left.

I hit the brakes, but it was clear it wouldnt' help. I knew knew it would go BANG. The last second or so I let go of the steering wheel and covered my face with my hands. Pure instict.

Killed one moose outright, wounded the other badly. It was later finished off by a policeman with his service pistol (normally hunters do this but none could be found that night)...

Chill in the traffic...

...I know the pictures look a bit dramatic, at least I hope they do - becasue I'm trying to scare you from driving stupidly fast :mad: ..., but as for myself all I got was this silly scratch:




...the truth is I'm a lucky b4st4rd.

Phew when i saw all that claret i thought the worst......and don't worry i don't drive fast, i've had my own scare in the past and have NO wish to repeat it. :(

Glad your OK though.

Average motorcycle is less then a meter wide. So you could have gone between them and patted one on the rump as you went by.
