next checking team balance and if not balanced repeat dice throw
Kewl. Would picking names from a hat be OK? Back in the PBM days, we would use the stock market as a random number generator.

I will stick to 10% IF I have the South. If I get the North, I need 15 %, although I doubt that I will use that much. Map must be at least 120x120 and I would prefer a custom or semi-custom map. I too dislike games that are dominated by arty, only my solution is having enough space to hide in that the opponents arty cannot concentrate on me unless I screw up.

I have a doubt now. What do you mean by XXX?
Does it mean that opponents may have different amount of points or Air sorties or do you randomly select the same amount for both players?
In first case, the 10% rule for arty would give different result too.
