Hello Everyone.
Ever spent hours deciding what units to purchase and where to deploy them for that mega battle only to find out that when your opponent returns the files the game does not accept your password?
Well this could be the cause...
... I have noticed that on the password screen if you press a key before clicking the "password" button, when you then press the "password" button that letter appears as the first letter of the password. (try it for yourself if you don't believe me).
If you press more than one key, only the last key pressed appears.
So there you go, an explanation for all those incorrect password issues.
This bug exists in WinSPWW2 and WinSPMBT both free and CD versions.
Can any game developers please make a note of this bug. A simple fix would be to have a a password check (i.e., retype your password) functionality in the password screen.
Until then, all you guys double check the password on screen is what you think you have entered! - Especially on those big games.
