how close do you have to get before your tanks or guns stop shooting HE and start firing canister rounds, if they have them? and does only infantry provoke the shot or could I get a T34 to roll by a gun and start firing of canisters into the bushes?

In my experience they only shoot cannister if they have a red target line (not area fire) and the target is infantry - especially in the open.

Canister rounds may be fired at guns also.

They will shoot canister area fire only if their HE is gone. As for the changeover....seems to be about 100 metres or so? Hard to remember.

yesterday i saw something new.a t34(dont know the exact modell,because we played at night) shoot canister at my wirbelwind (shows his side to the t 34).but lucky commander survived it :whis:.
didnt see anything like that before.

but at what range canister is fired,i dont know exactly....
