It turns out I don't own enough books about the Eastern front. (Mrs FLG would find that extremely hard to believe.)
In Vyazma OOB from Moscow 41 KG Luckner is attached to AOK.9. I can't find any information on this kampfgruppe. Can any one else help or suggest a reference.

I dont know anything about the KG myself, but if you go to feldgrau.com--especially the forums, you are bound to find an answer. Those guys know, seemingly, everything anyone would want to know about the Wehrmacht.

It is a longshot, but there was a colonel von Luckner at the time, later a major general, who was the commander of the 175th artillery regiment, which was the divisional artillery regiment of the 75th infantry division. That suggests more of an Arko than a KG, however. It isn't all that uncommon a name, though, so it might be something else altother. YMMV.
