hey Dawg good luck to u guys LSU did there part thursday nite:cool:
real football starts next week ; )
I tend to agree with you Rasputitsa. I do love the passion of the college game, but with the big football schools lining their schedules with Division 2 schools or other assorted cupcakes (at home no less--Georgia has 8 home games and just 4 road games) sort of takes the excitement out of the game for me, speaking as a football fan. This makes Appalachian State's win even more amazing. Oh, wait a minute, Michigan is the Big 10...I guess it wasn't much of an upset after all;-)
Here is an interesting link, on the big schools lining up cupcakes.

Congrats on your W yesterday Jack. OK State is not exactly a cupcake!

It is indeed unfortunate but college football schedules seemed to be ruled more by dollars and less by common sense.

My Aztecs don't start until next week. We tend to loose to our cupcakes anyway. So, how much longer until NCAA basketball season?
Bama won its tune up game............

Next week things get serious with a road trip to Vandy......

Bama should win if they can contain Earl Bennet, Vandy's outstanding wide out.
u want action watch SEC football
Oh yeah Cal played great yesterday
