Guys ... and especially Jason ..
I have been mulling purchasing a copy of the newly revamped Matrix version of CS since its release.
But having read about numerous problems with it on both Blitz and Matrix forums, I have yet to work out whether or not it is worth buying now, or wait for a newer version with all updatesn added.
So I guess my point is ---- Will Matrix release a version with all the fixes, or will owners of the game have to continue to rely on mods posted here and at the Matrix site to fix glitches and problems ... ?
Meanwhile, any feedback in regards why I should, or shouldn't buy the Matrix version would be much appreciated ....

problems? dont know what problems yor takin about. i play the game daily, via email and on weekends online. i do use hamachi to play online but that is due to my router not the game per say. so my answer is : what are you waiting for , buy the game and get into the action. the game is stable and you will find many people to play.

I would not have volunteered my services without following the project through. I am a diehard fanatic of the Campaign Series and always will be. I am interested in this project to hopefully see the Campaign Series last at least another decade. I am in this for the long haul.
That being said, we, as a team, are actively pursuing bugs and wishes. Some are out of our scope, but anything that we can fix or add to, we are doing.
There are many things coming for the Campaign Series and I am excited to be part of it!

Spud, I've wondered the same thing for a couple of months now. I haven't bought it yet but plan on end of sept. Just remember that all of your old cs. dics are getting old and failure is just a matter of time. Not to mention games against matrix players are easier to find.Bite the bullet and pay you will sooner or later, and trust JASON & STAFF to fix what they can, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Hi Spud & Chuck,
The patch(s) fixed many of the problems reported w/ the release. I am playing several people and have had no problems.
Jason is everywhere with this release. If not at this site he is answering questions at the Matrix site.
This is a good product and well worth the cost. It provides me countless hours of enjoyment.
I would buy it again if given the chance.

Probably not until 1.04 and, if that's the case, will only be available as an option.
