August 2000, joined from Grognards merger with Blitz.

Gonna be here til I die I suppose :)
Hi Keith

Good luck w/ the VT & Gators. We play Bama as our alt west team this year. We open up against Oklahoma State Cowboys 10 days 20 hours & 33 minutes away!!

I joined in Dec 2003. Man o man I wish I knew about you guys before then.

I miss Lestman too. I emailed him 2 months ago & he was doing well. Still riding his bike.

Jack
Jack you know you didn't have time before 2003 because of your acting career Big Grin

2004 and it looks like I'll be here awhile myself. Those darn tournaments are addictive. Eek

I was playing on the Grognards around 98. Before that I think there was a good club called the Leadeaters (or vice versa, I forgot).

Was there for the move over to the Blitz but then stopped playing around 2001. Decided to get back into it after I saw that Matrix created an all in one edition.

Glad I came back. Remember Larry Reese, David Blair, Bavarian Andre, Marcus Bertman, all great guys to play. Started playing this summer and met some more good gamers.

Just wish that the online play problem could be resolved. Anyone know of an option besides setting up a virtual network?
Member since mid-2001, went here from different club (won't mentione the name ;) )

Being so sure about my skills (beating AI since 1998) found myself helpless against my opponents Big Grin

Met many great people, and know that there are many more to meet cheers

There is few I miss as they are no longer with us (but still hope they'll return) but I have to mention one: Alma Street! I remember good old days when online playing worked, and we were living in the same time zone, just across the Monterey Bay. That were good old days with 2 - 3 battles finished at one night :smg:

I hope I'll soon have online fighting working :hissy:

Thank you people for being with me all the time!
I joined in June 2001 needing PBEM opponents. Full of piss and vinegar I vowed to destroy every opponent I faced. It was 6 months before I had my first victory.

Harsh early lessons by opponents like [hirr]Leto and Amico Fritz showed me I had a lot to learn. Someday I look forward to the Wooden Cross as a badge of honor. Although I have gotten better.

It's the cameraderie of the club that I enjoy most. Winning and losing is secondary. In my opinion, the greatest war club and CS the best of any game. I look forward to battling new people and finishing the massive El Alamein team game by the year 2016!
April 1st, 2000. That's appropriate I suppose. ;)
Reported my first game at the Blitz in Nov. 1999. I usually only have 1 or 2 games going at any one time, continuing to play an opponent for several games until they get tired of beating me.

I've seen a lot of good opponents come and go, with a lot of them changing over to CM.

Gavin
Think it would be February 1999 from JVK's old club.Only about a dozen members at that time if i remember correctly.Over 8 years and the club seems to get stronger and bigger hopefully it will continue until us oldies die off i would assume.
