is smoke accomplished by holding down Alt while selecting the hex to fire on?

Careful where there is smoke there is enemy fire:)

That's true. I love annoying those pesky MG-42 nests by concealing them in smoke!

One of the first things i check is my smoke assets. The use of smoke is sometimes the difference you need to hold a key VH.
