We like to average two-turns a week, but we realize that the boring real-world does get in the way sometimes.
Its very simple to play the game as a team game. You take your portion of your team's turn, save it-but don't end the turn-then send the saved portion of your turn to your team-mate(s). Then, the last player on the team advances the turn when he's done and sends it along to the opposition.
It really makes the game much, much more enjoyable than a one-vs-one game.
Do you have much experience playing NGP'85?
Are there no Russian Commanders that want to invade the west? The glove is down, who will pick it up?

Aside from taking your turn and keeping up a good pace, nothing more than that is required.
