Hello all,

Just a thought/question.. I don't have the CD's yet (perhaps for Christmas?).. but I would think that the OP fire filters might work against a player sometimes..

For instance, in the 50's thru the 70's recoiless rifles seem to be used on vehicles with regularity.. and these vehicles often have little or no armor.. if the opponent has not balanced his forces well, then MBT's could be vulnerable to light armor with RR's.. this because the OP-fire filtering could deem light armor as an unworthy target for the MBT's attention. (you might not want MBT's wasting precious ammo shooting at Ferrets or BDRM's)... but there are things out there that are armed with a RR, or smaller gun firing HEAT, that would be plenty dangerous for a MBT to run into.

If your opponent has a number of these cheap beasties available, then could the Op-Fire filters work against you? Perhaps..

Gary, there is only one word to describe the OP fire filter..........MONEY!:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:

The only way it works against you is if you make it. Or..if you don't use it.

A good assesment of the enemy's OOB should reveal any nasty suprises.
You could set some of your tanks min armor engagement criteria to different numbers. IE in a 3 tank platoon 2 tanks to 19 Armor min and one to 2 or 3. You could also set the engagement range to just above the max effective range of the RR equiped nasty. OTOH you would still run into the problem of MG jeeps and RR jeeps found in a lot of Recon units. Or RR equiped OT62s with regular OT-62s.

I haven't figured it all out yet but it seems to be working for me. :)
