Looks like a very interesting conflict to model. I will have to be purchasing it releases just prior to my birthday.

Randy....my bday is on 6 Jun if you are of a mind to go ahead and get me a copy for a gift. Ha.
Everyday is a birthday when a new SB game appears!

We'll be rumbling on the dusty plains of Afghanistan soon enough, Riley. ES has been fun, but I've been waiting for this game for a few years now!
Ahh yes. <picks up his well-thumbed paperback copy of "Horn of Africa">

Anybody remember that book? It was my first introduction to the type of fighting that was happening on the Dark Continent.

I am chomping at the bit on this one. (Not to mention that Matrix is just "days/hours" from releasing the upgraded CS).

I had really needed a break from wargaming when I took it but frankly I have forgotten how good these titles are. They really have some legs.
It will be interesting to look as as there it is made.
To compare to our sources about this war.
Actually most of the info we utilized were Frunze records. There are also good amount of 1st hand Mujahideen combat reports; thanks to Lester Grau.
It is separate game or MOD ?

It is necessary to buy original variant Squad Battles ?

There is a desire to buy, live in Russia.
It is a complete new title. You have to buy the title only. No Mod or modules.
Check this site to buy the title: http://www.hpssims.com/
Should be up on the HPS site tomorrow.
