Heheh ! A likely name for some sort of Scotch.....
Come on ! How can it be that I have been the only one to read that book ? Maybe just one copy sold (to me) ?
Tomorrow the full revelation.......

First, I have to apologise since, not having the book with me, I did a mistake writing the name of the author: actually it was Glen Sire and not Glenn Sire.
That said, Mr. Sire wrote a book published for the first time in Italy in 1965, a translation from the original English edition, titled "The Deathmakers".
In the story Captain Brandon commands the vanguard of a US Armoured Division heading for Czech borders in the closing days of WW II.
I was young when saw the book for the first time, but still consider it a very good book, and want to recommend the reading.
Regards
Gio
