For all the hard work in presenting tactical and unit information.

Honestly, glad to see you have finally found a home and I think its a great addition to the CM community to have all these screenshots and tests in one place.

You've even encouraged a few people to do some tests of their own.

Cheers!

Thanks mate but Randy's got to take a lot of credit for inviting me to post here.
He maintains a great atmosphere at the Blitz by not allowing the sour-minded bellyaching that goes on at some other forums which are ruled by small cliques of disruptive whingers who used to knee-jerkingly argue with nearly every tac post I made just for arguments sake.
Winston Churchill, writing in "My Early Life", says how as a young cavalry officer in India he enjoyed 'the keen intellect of the mess'.
To his credit, Randy has created that same quality atmosphere at the Blitz, where tactics etc are discussed sensibly and intelligently by all the members without being disturbed by bozos wandering in off the street.
When British fighter ace Douglas Bader was strugglng to get back into the RAF after a flying accident, a senior officer approved his return by saying "he's the sort we want"
So it is at the Blitz, every member here can take pride from knowing he's the sort Randy wants, otherwise they'd be out on their butts..:)
Cheers Mick, but it's not like that at all really, no matter what anyone claims.

As Leto says, thanks for your efforts here, but no need to drag the pettiness of those without merit or respect into a topic that's expressing good will and cheer.

I feel there's no need to give any more attention to those not deserving of it on our forums however. Let their forums clutter and choke with non CM material and keeps ours on track with the beneficial INTEL.

TheBlitz has no need to compete or spar with anyone or club, it just lowers our quality and wastes energies that are better focused on gaming and enjoying CM as a fun pastime and stress reliever.

cheers

Yes mate, in fact I'm amazed at the depth of the Blitz and am also looking at the American Civil War section etc with a view to possibly playing a few games in there, even though it's not my specialist subject and I haven't even bought any ACW games..
Waddya say Skeeter?

I've played some ACW Gettysburg campaigns battles, but not in the past year as my focus outside of CM is the Modern Campaigns and Steel panthers WINMBT.

Then you probably should not have written the first couple sentences above if your goal was to emphasize the sincerity of the last sentence.

My first post was sincere, I don't know how all this garbage appeared.

Please get rid of it, and please do not bring it up on these boards again.

Thanks.
