I'm going to get a new computer this month.

Will I be required to transfer my existing game files or just reload the game and go from there?

If I'm playing a game that was downloaded from the Blitz site, will my opponents turn automatically provide all of the information I might need or will I have to download the game (map, scn, etc.) once again?

Thank you,

Pat
If you had custom scenarios you'll have to reload them and your opponents will have to resend game files other then that you might be ok. Imsahla..... That's spelled wrong but oh well.

Gary

I took all the custom files and game turns and emailed them to myself from the old comp........then set up the new comp...installed the game...........and open the emails unzipping into the folders...........and voila!........you should be right where you were before the new comp :-)
Great idea about the emailing.

I'll have to set up a new email account just for that and then access it from the new computer.

If that doesn't work for me, I'll try Gary's suggestion.

Thank you kind sirs,

Pat
Montana,

if you are getting a new PC, forget email, buy one of those USB key drives you can get 1GB and 2GB ones for almost nothing and if you are buying a new PC they will probably chuck one in.

These little babies are pure gold, just dump all the files on and go. Especially if you are buying a new PC, they are a great way of moving old data around that you want to keep, such as IE favourites, Profile data etc.

Or if you want to spend a bit more money there is always a portable USB hard drive.
