Maybe I'm a slow learner:

My question is in regard to coordinating infantry with armor.

Put them together in the same hex? Lead with infantry and armor behind?

Perhaps circumstances might dictate a variety of combinations, but what I'm looking for is a general approach?

Thanks,

Pat
i think you already are on the right track...but remember the reason why tanks were invented...machine guns! tanks basic use is to support their infantry so that a stable front can be turned into a mobile one..keeping your infantry orginized in a way that keeps the enemy from destroying them wholesale ..ie surrounded and assaulted..if the terrain is close your infantry become security buy exposing the ememy positions..this is even more critical in late war when fighting germans and western allies...i recomend practising with the campaigns...any form is fine but our friends in the desighn department surely like us playing thier stuff and they are very good makes
In any event, avoid placing more than 12SPs in any one hex and any one time. Overstacking can result in you attacking out of that hex at half strength and suffering increased losses when defending in that hex.
