What can me or my opponenet do with a 'saved game failed to load' messeage. I rezipped and resent the turn and he got the same message.

You can try replaying the previous turn if you have the files.

Ok, I'll try it. Unfortunately I did so well last time, I'll probably not do so this time.

That's probably why the game crashed, it couldn't handle your excellent play :)
