I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the ASDN EF II mod with Windows XP?? Everytime I try to start it up through the new executable, it prompts me to insert the EF II disc (which is already inserted). I click 'OK', it repeats the same request. I open the CD drive and close it again, it still prompts me to insert the EF II disc. I click 'cancel', it keeps repeating the same message.
Any help from someone that uses it regularly?? I know some of you guys do. I e-mailed the author, but no response so far. Thanks in advance.

Ahoy The Rattler:

I have the ASDN exe file loaded and would love to play with it against an opponent too. I have EF2 v1.02. If you are interested, pick anything you like and send it my way.

I prefer battles of 7 or less at this time.

Cheers,

Nort
Sent you internal mail good luck.
Dang. Now I am experiencing the same problem as J.K. Does anybody have an explanation or a fix?

Any help is appreciated.
I think I figured it out.
When I'm promted to put in the EF II CD, I never really looked at what drive letter it wanted me to put it in. It asked for Drive E (not the Drive F which is where I installed EF II from). My Drive E is the DVD burner ,so I assume that ASDN wrote this when drive letters up to F, G ,H, etc. just weren't made yet. Once I changed the EF II disc from the DVD-ROM to the DVD-burner, the mod version ran fine
Nort and others, thanks for your insight, and maybe this will work for you as well.
