I've made a second copy of MBT for my 2.51 games and will be installing the patch to the DL version while i wait for the CD versions to turn up in the post.
Ok, RD, I'll whip up a garden variety cold war europe game And I'll add you to my upgrading to MBT class list. You can buy what ever you please in the quanities you desire and can afford. Every weapon has a counter and every counter has a weapon.
Fubar, I sent you the files for the 2.51 game we had going. I ran it in 3.0 and only noticed one thing. Some of my off map arty went out of contact. There was no damage showing on the roster, so I'm pretty sure it didn't get trashed by counter battery fire. It was acting like W@W when the A0 loses contact with the arty leader, but I don't think MBT does that. So I had hoped you would extract those files to your 3.0 install and see if they still worked. If they do, we can play on ( or thru depending on if you prefer football to golf). If it doesn't work, then we havn't lost anything, since we would have to set up again anyway. If it does work, we have sucessfully ( maybe, I really don't care that much what happens to 4 batteries of 76mm arty, especially now that the smoke is mostly used up) ported a 2.51 game to 3.0 under high security. That could be a good thing. Since there is nothing to lose and something to gain, I figure 'go for it'. My sort of plan.

aboot (Canadian influance) 15 minutes ago. I got comcasted awhile back and now it takes that long for an Emial to go from this room to the computer in another room 10 feet away. I often think I need to find that old box of zip flopies up in the atic, hook up my zip drives and just do file transfers by hand. It would be quicker.
