When I'm in the "fire" mode and a specific artillery piece is highlighted, I am wondering how to determine if this is a "plot" or this piece will immediately fire upon a target?

If the target is in line of sight it will fire directly....if not seen it is a plot which will arrive at the beginning of the next turn
