Full Version: Is Panzer campaign worth buying?

I have been playing TOAW3 for awhile now and enjoy it but would like to play WW2 at a different level as well , I am thinking of buying another game to play. Are there many people to play on this site and which Panzer campaign should I buy?
There are quite a few players here - 126 players have completed at least 1 game in the past 3 months, for example, and I am sure a number of others are in longer campaign games, or temporary hold. So we probably have more than 150 but less than 200 active players, would be my guess.

Definitely worth buying - the NWS store is one of the best and cheapest sources of the games also.

As to which one, buy the one that has the campaign that interests you the most. They all have small scenarios and longer campaigns, but if you really want to start out with a smaller one, the Market Garden game has relatively few units and small maps, but then it has river crossings which can be fairly complex to carry out.

As you can imagine this question is asked all the time. There are plenty of players on the ladder finding a opponent is easy, as for which title you should pick the one covering a period of the war you most enjoy and you have good knowledge of.
All the titles are patched to the same level so there are no "old" games.
Pick and enjoy :)
about wich to buy just pick a battle you like them you will start buying all titles slowly.
Another "plus" of the PzC system is the fact that once you learn the rules of one title, this knowledge can be ported to other titles in the series (with minor differences of course). The series is well supported with upgrades & there some really great mods (ie. Volcano Man's Art Packs) which really add to the enjoyment of the games.

Hope this helps...
Great thanks for the help, I will buy somthing on the Eastern Front its a front that has always interested me.

Given the frequency that this question comes up, why doesn't someone do some polls about which is best? Each poll could be centered around a different question, such as: which is the best for a newbie, which is the best overall, which is the worst, etc. Then, people that ask this question could be linked to the poll results and decide for themselves.
