I have, in my library, the three volume set of "The Korean War" by the Korea Institute of Military History. This is the translated official military history of the ROK during the conflict.

A total of nearly 2,600 pages of text, maps, illustrations and tables, it gives an excellent basis for understanding how the Koreans fought during the conflict.

I highly recommend picking it up.

Take care and good luck

Thanks for the heads-up Jason!! I don't have that one yet!! Say, being in the Cartography field, any hints on where a person may find 1:50,000 maps of Korea preferably on cd?

Mike!

No problem, least I can do!

Regarding your question. Unfortunately, no, I cannot think of a source of 1:50,000 maps for Korea. I have the 250k set available online, but that is not accurate enough for Campaign Series mapping.

You could try the Library of Congress:

That could be of service.. let me know!!

Hope you're well
