Hey guys ....

Am having a wee problem w/ Korean War mod.

It's all working fine ... except when I enter the OOB section I get a message on the screen reading ....

-- file regiment22.oo6:line 5:invalid ref number 22313 --

Anyone know what this means ... ?

The OOB create section also doesn't have any division and above sized units .. regimental is the largest it gives me for all dates ....

Apart from that it all works great ... and an currently designing a hypothetical scen. which will post later ..

Great work and hearty congratulations and thanks to all who were involved in this project.

I used to know a Spud and long time ago , childhood friends actually, we used to race each other , Spud was actually alittle faster then me but it was still fun tryin to beat him. This caught my eye because if i remember correctly his dad fought in Korea. (Tanker i think.) Where are you from originally.........SF Bay Area?
I think you installed the download over a previous install of divided Ground, there is NO regiment 22!!Eek ANZAC is the 22 slot and they don't have a regiment. Very important folks as the directions say, you must install the download in a fresh folder with nothing in it! If you just overwrite an existing install, you will get problems for sure. Spud, if this is what you did, just make a new folder marked Korean War, and unzip the download into that, that will solve the problem. Let me know how it goes, feel free to email me with any problems, ok?cheers

I think the installation text makes it look more complicated than it is. Initially I thought I had to copy the contents of my DG cd into the Korean War directory as well....

In fact you just have to choose a place to unzip the mod. Winzip itself will create the \Korean War directory.
So in my case I just unzipped to C:\Program Files\Talonsoft and copied a shortcut from dg.exe out of the c:\program files\talonsoft\korean war directory to my desktop.

You are correct sir, my apologies!! Randy, is there any way to edit the opening text of the page to relay this? Since I already had it on my HD, and didn't download/install it myself, I wasn't aware of this fact.

Many thanks for the help guys ....

I guess I am now a contender for numbnuts of the year ...

I completely miss-read the instrunctions and loaded the add-on in the same way the Vietnam add-on was loaded ... !

Now the Korean mod is working as it was meant to .... once again a bug thanx to all involved in its creation.
