Poland vs Germany
Meeting engagement
Map: 160x160, Ruszki - Bzura river region, Poland
Battle points: 5000
Turns 40
Air XXX

Ruszki, Poland,
September 16, 1939

- for days savage fighting has taken place along the Bzura river as Polish forces are trying to break through to Warsaw. On the 16th the German 4th Panzer Division is ordered to cross the river, the intention being to fragment the Polish forces..., near Ruszki heavy fighting develops when the Kampfgruppen of the 4th Panzer run into strong Polish opposition...

I'll play either side... :)
Looking for more winSPWW2 games.

Still have a couple of hundred or so open PBEM slots...
Hello Wufir,

I could give that one a try.

Jad
Cool! ;)

If you don't mind, I'll be the Poles..., any particular PBEM slot you'd like to use...?
Slot 3 works for me

Opponent wanted for a very large game, if someone is crazy enough:

US Army vs Germany

Elements of the US Army 14th Armored and 79th Infantry Divisions slug it out with the German 21st Panzer and 25th Panzergrenadier Divisions over the villages of Hatten and Rittershoffen in eastern France...
Hi Ulf

If you can find anyone to fill that game slot let me know. Again you make the games sounds very interesting. Always like the Germans vs USA games.

Marcus
Cool Marcus!

Would slot 002 or 004 suit you...?

Also, what side would you like to play - either one is good enough for me...

There was actually a battle over the villages of Hatten and Rittershoffen in early 1945, between the Americans and Germans. I have yet to find a good detailed account of the fighting, but Hans von Luck wrote some about it in his book Panzer Commander...
Hi Ulf

Any slot is good with me. What version are you? Version 1 or version 1.1b. I have both so either slot in either version and we are away. Also either country suits me fine.:)

I look forward to the game.

Marcus
