Am I correct in stating the Club standard version for EFII is V1.03? Will this play against 1.02 or are there difficulties?

The last official EFII version was v1.03 and it is not backwards compatible with the other versions. The last official WF version was v1.05.

I think you will find that many members have numerous versions of EF/WF on the PC's (some of us have all of them). Just state your preferred version when you are looking for a match.

Hi Rod,

With EF most of the custom games downloaded from the scenario section are v1.02, but some of the newly created scenarios are v1.03.

The EF gold is v1.03.

If you are playing v1.03 and try to open the v1.02 you will often find hedgroves that cross the roads or walls across the map. You just can not play the game as the problem is in the map file.

If you have v1.02 & the custom game was made using v1.03 you will not be able to play it at all.

To convert the map file just follow the instructions listed on the main CS MB or post a message and someone will convert it for you.

I have had mixed success converting map files.

With WF stay away from the v1.06 as I have heard it has many bugs. If you patched w/ v1.06 you might wasnt to delete the whole thing & reinstall.
