Hi Cross
I cannot offer a game as I have to rebuild my computer in the next few days/weeks and am holding out until I have completed that mission.
I just wanted to say...EXCELLENT!!
That was a cool read and I like the way you are combining PBEM and campaign. You seem to be having fun.
I will keep my eye out in the future in case you need an opponent.
Good luck!

Hi Cross
Thanks for the offer of help with the rebuild. I think I have it sorted...though we'll soon see...... the best laid plans of mice and men and all that.
I like the idea of playing a PBEM against someone who is using a core like you explained. You know the occassional kill is really going to hurt :smg:
I'll check back in and see if you need an opponent as soon as I am up and running.
BTW, you should think of submitting an AAR...just flesh out what you've already done a bit. You have a good style of writing.
Good luck with your battles
Cheers

You have some insight here :smoke: For me this makes for far more realism in a battle. I find I get attached to certain officers and NCOs and am less willing to just throw them into a marginal situation. I'm sure this is how it was IRL. Alternatively, I will risk men to save other men's lives; rather than just leave them stranded without support. But there are plenty of officers that you just don't get the chance to become familiar with; from what I've read, this is also how it was IRL. Adds a dimension to PBEM that it's otherwise lacking.

Hi Cross.
That was a great read and its really got my interest up in doing something simalar. I really enjoyed the read and have found i have read it three and and picked up more each time round.
let me know if i we can set something up sometime. I have read AAR's from the tournaments we have going on at the moment and really enjoy them. maybe we can do an AAR for a campaign if we get it going.
