Thanks for posting this Czerpak, I just got the same news........just awful.

I played about 60 games against Skotty, and like you never met Scott in person but was privileged to regard him as a friend.

I hope that we as a community can do something to mark Scott's passing, and to ensure that he is remembered as the all round good guy who left us far too soon.

Yes, RIP Skotty,
Alex

That is too bad indeed. I will write his wife on behalf of the SP ladder.
I played my very first game of winMBT against skot. Got me hooked too on MBT too. We were hoping to start another MBT game soon.
Was a visitor to his web site but sad too say i didn't go there enough!
Its a sad day, he was a champion!
We have lost a great commander.

RIP Skot.

I do recall his name, but never had any contact...sorry to hear that.
Hi Guys

Man! That news really blew away my good mood :-(
I played many battles against Skotty, and mostly got hammered for my troubles. He was a superb commander and a top geezer. We exchanged many a long email during our games and I felt I had come to know him quite well. He worked in my field in RL, audio engineering, so we were able to chat about that black art as well...a rarity for me.

I was just about to write him an email to wish him a happy birthday, and many more.
I will miss him.

Cheers Skotty.
SALUTE ////

RIP
The best are the first to go ... and that makes me a sad man.

RIP
Rest in Peace my good friend Skotty.

Tragic news..., truly...

If there ever was a Blitz player it was Skotty.

RIP
