Guys

For a project I'm involved with I've got to give a 30 minute talk on the following subject:

Title Of The Brief:

The impact of the Introduction of Mechanisation on the Western Front. The briefing is to pay particular attention to why the introduction of the Tank had such a major influence during the Battle Of The Somme. Additionally, the briefing should illustrate how improved primary power generation enabled tracked / mechanised vehicles to evolve, and in turn how that influenced the evolution of modern warfare tactics.

I need to throw some inital thoughts together over the next couple of days, and ideas / pointers / links would be most welcome.

Cheers
