It never ceases to amaze me how 60+ years of being in the mud can leave a tank looking like it just rolled out of the factory.

Enjoy.

Good find & very interesting !.
Awesome, absolutely awesome !!

Vulture
Now that's what I call "bogging". I guess switching the movement command to "reverse" didn't work out!
Interesting stuff. Since I don't understand the article's language, I wonder if they also found the drivers of said Panzer inside it, or if it was simply pushed into the bog to keep the Russians from capturing it. Amazing condition. I wonder how they stumbled across it.
Note the "ostketten" tracks & the extra armor bolted on. That was one dangerous AFV back in the day.
Is there anyone here that can translate from Czech to English? I'm interested in what the text says.

Mike
Guy says he knows nothing about the vehicle. He found pictures at some russian auction site. Says it was listed for 1 million $ and was later marked as "sold".
BTW it is not in 'polish' swamps. Plates on the trailor aredefinetely not polish ones, they look like russian, but I am not 100% sure.
It's amazing how much hardware is still lying around in Europe. To bad that site is in Czech. I would like to know where alot of that stuff is.

Good website Thanks
