Well, that didn't work.
I DL'd WaW 8.2 and installed it. The first splash screen had no options for mod swapper. ALL the options involved opening a hole in my firewall to let what ever malware I just loaded to hook up with the data sink. No options anywhere for modswapper. So I started the game an listened to that cheezy music for a minute while looking for modswapper. No joy, so I killed that and went in and reset my firewll to not allow Matirx to data mine my computer. Nothing in here they need to know about.
I got the DL off of gamers hell, so maybe they are the ones that stacked the malware on me. Any way, I'm not going to let a little bump in the road and a few bars of cheezy music stop me. Where else can I get modswapper?
modswapper is in your main SPWAW folder, it doesnt appear in the splash screen
also should be in your start menu
Start/program/spwaw....etc etc...
OK, that worked, I think. I haven't lloked yet to see what is different, noty that I'm sure I would spot it. Anyway, I'm off to give Jad target practice.:smg:
well first indictactors you have done it correctly....
the opening music is differtent and,
"home" screen should say
"COLONEL: SPWAW Enhanced V2"

and you should be able to spot alot more differences very easily.
;)
I HATE the WaW music, so I turn the sound off and I tab the space bar as soon as the game opens, so I don't have to grow old and die while someone desperatly seeking ego-bo parades his name in front of my glazed over eyes. I don't think I actually know anybody who watches those screens. I willl check and see what the status is next time I load it up, which will be when Jad sends me back some files. I just sent him some start-ups so I expect it to take a while. I think it's right though. I got no warnings or cautions when I installed, so it should be good.
Double post......
why cant we delete our own posts?
all the music has changed
well once you get to the home screen.
you must launch from somewhere else?
I dont see all that SSI stuff
anyway turn your sound back on, all new music now!!

Geez almost 20 minutes to view your message and then reply.
