"Man in the High Castle" (version 1.04)

Best Played as: Allies

14 April, 1945. Northwest Europe.

As the Germans struggle to hold the last few territories from the encroaching Allies, a highly intelligent yet insane SS colonel has barricaded himself in a mountaintop castle, which is cut off from the mainland by a winding river and a foggy lake. Not only is it vital that the Allies capture this mad man, but they must secure this important mountain pass as well.

Two main bridges lead to the peninsula where the castle stands. It is critical in this scenario that the Allies get at least 1/3 of their forces across the river within the first few turns of the scenario. The Allies must be careful not to let the Germans blow the bridges. They must also be mindful of wreckage that occurs on the bridges, which could block their progress.

The Allies consist mainly of American M4 and M4(76) tanks, armored infantry and engineers, and mobile artillery. A British amphibious battalion of tanks, engineers, and commandos will help make a beachhead, possibly at the enemy's flanks.

Fortunately, the light fog from the lake may help cloak the Allies as they approach...
